Default ghetto vs hillbilly

Just a fun survey here.

If you HAD to live in either the stereotypical ghetto environment or the stereotypical hillbilly environment, which would you choose and why? And yes...I'm talking about for long term (5 years or more). I'm talking about having to and I'm talking about the very stereotypical environment (which I don't know if there truly are any but...let's pretend )

If your family situation was different, would you choose the same answer? (If you are single now would you answer the same if you had family to raise? If you have family now would you answer different if you were single?

I love the country but for some reason I feel more comfortable around the inner-city population. If I had kids, they need to learn to become tough and be able to stand up for themselves around other people.

Ghetto I guess, because they tend to have more of a liberal/democratic view. I'm also from the city and have more in common with all types of people living in a city vs. the country.

Hillbilly because despite being poor, there seems to be a relatively small criminal streak compared to the ghetto. Also, BANJOS!

This is a hard one
I live in a ghetto suburb(born and raised here). Its not as bad as it used to be and I think its safer than the hoods in the inner-city. Although my attitude is not ghetto/hood, I guess my comfort is with the ghetto more. My first image of a hillbilly environment is a small town with racist people who like to get crazy drunk and drive pick up trucks and maybe having a confederate flag. The best thing about a hillbilly environment is the crime rate is usually lower compare to the hood. Only if I could trade the typical elements(drive-byes, gang fights/shootings etc.) in the ghetto for the low crime rate in a hillbilly environment, things would be better.lol

It also depend on how hood is the ghetto. Some I would be terrified to walk into. I would never live in the projects like the once infamous Cabrini Green.

Yes, but since you made the choice, it technically qualifies as suicide so you'll have to end up in a hell consisting of an Appalachian housing project populated by ghettobillies.

I've lived in the ghetto back in South Chicago and it really wasn't that bad. People stick to their business and don't talk mess, you'll be fine. I would HATE to be in a racist hillbilly town. Ugh.

At least in a hillbilly area people respect private property, so it's easy to just mind your own business and live in your own little world.

In the ghetto not only are you unsafe on the street, but you're also unsafe in your own home. There's no need for burglar bars in a "hillbilly" area.
