I am curious what kind of yard games people in other areas play. I have heard that a game called "cornhole" is getting popular ( I have only seen it twice and both at Thunder over Louisville and it looks fun!)

I also played a game where you throw two balls attatched to a string over a bar on a thing-a-ma-bob and a game called washers. Of course badmitton and volleyball are favorites as well. How about where you are? (make sure to say where you are, please!)

The only yard game I get to play lately is called "Mowing" and frankly it is loosing it's charm. My wife has been playing "weeding" lately and I don't like it much better. "Fire Ant Control" looks like it will soon become popular, but I don't know how much fun it will actually be although I can see some element of satisfaction in winning.

My favorite yard game is ladder ball i got my set on the internet. Ladder ball is hands down the most fun yard game and it is very easy for any one to learn how to play.

We play cornhole a lot now at tailgates since the cops dont let us play pong/flip cup etc. anymore. We also play cornhole a lot on the beach when we're down the shore.

I guess some people might get a laugh out of the name by thinking of it in a different way but it is just a variation of a bean bag toss only where it came from they grow a lot of corn and used that in the bean bags instead of beans.
