Understand what led him to do something tragic, did you say tragic? A bit more than tragic, it was horrific.

If he is found guilty, I no sympathy here, but that's my opinion on cases such as this!

Count 1 21-3401 06/02/07 MURDER 1ST DEGREE
Amended 21-3439 07/10/07 CAPITAL MURDER
Count 2 21-3421 06/02/07 AGGRAVATED KIDNAPPING
Count 3 21-3502(a)(1) 07/10/07 RAPE/INTERCOURSE-NO CONSENT
Count 4 21-3506(A)(3) 07/10/07 AGG CRIMINAL SODOMY

Thanks for the correction. InJeans, uhh.. what's the difference between Capital Murder and Murder in the 1st Degree? Is it anything like California's Special Circumstances?

well, since posting this we also had a 4 y/o little hispanic boy kidnapped and found dead in a garabage truck a week later. You can't tell me that someone sick enough to do that has any buisness being out on the street whether that person gets life in prison or the death penalty (which is unlikely). NO THANK YOU!!!

capital offense=any criminal charge which is punishable by the death penalty.

Crimes punishable by death vary from state to state and country to country. In 38 American states these offenses may include first degree murder (premeditated)
murder with special circumstances (such as intentional, multiple, involved with another crime, with guns, of a police officer, or a repeat offense)

rape with additional bodily harm

federal crime of treason.

Here in Boston, a 6-year-old girl was raped and murdered (broken link) by her 20-year-old cousin.

That is so sad! Life just doesn't seem to have as much value anymore. My heart and prayers go out to that family too.

This isn't anything new. This sort of thing happens every minute of every day in all parts of the world. Yes, it's tragic and very sad indeed. What's worse is we're breeding people who commit such acts and fail to take any responsibility for our actions. If we as a community addressed the social and societal ills that lead people to commit such acts than maybe there wouldn't be another victim tomorrow. Sure makes a lot more sense than throwing people in Prison and having somoene else take their place. I don't think we'll ever get it as we're so set in our ways.
