And how can a man be "overly sensitive" to the needs of a woman?
I'm assuming your a woman.
Black men have been scolded time and again for ruining black families by running out on them, and many of them are definitely wrong for that, but the role of the black woman in the destruction of the black family unit is never discussed, and they are not nearly as innocent as they lead on. Until that is addressed, and it will anger alot of women, the plight of the black family will remain relatively bleak. Thats all I'm gonna say about that.

To even suggest that MLK should be in the same sentence as Jesse Jackson or Al Sharpton is laughable.
Not really. Jackson was there when MLK was assassinated, and I think it's quite interesting how "sanitized" MLK's legacy is now as to be more palatable to the masses when, during his lifetime, it was anything but.
I just read that the Virginia governor is now making non-violent convicted felons write him an essay on what they contribute to society, in order to have their voting rights restored.
Virginia is heading down a slippery slope, as their current governor works tirelessly to undo decades of progress.
How in the heck did a thread on where the Mid Atlantic meets the South get to re-fighting the Civil War, MLK, and Tyler Perry?!
