I respectfully disagree with JakeDog. It makes little sense to let your career be the central focus of your life. Do what you love to do and let that be your guiding light. Life is short! Have you ever heard of anyone on their death bed wishing they would have spent more time on their career?
Ohio is sort of close to the ocean; if you have an Indy car or have a personal jet.
I live in Ohio right now. Will be leaving within a few months. If you choose Ohio, Columbus area is solid. Ohio State played in both Football & Basketball NCAA Championships this year. Cost of living is good there. Ohio State is a good college.
I lived in upstate N.Y. before. However, winters can be tough... Plus you have to deal with taxes.....taxes....taxes. Cost of living will be higher in N.Y., compared to Columbus.
