It did that a copuple years ago. It's poised to pass 1,000,000 in about five years, though.

Phoenix definitley does NOt have a suburb feel - it has no downtown - and the pocketed communities of downtowns in the "burbs" are not existence and are dead come 7pm -

Help me out here, because I'm confused. You emphatically proclaim that Phoenix does not have a suburb feel, and then proceed to list many of its attributes that many if not most others would ascribe to suburban settings...

yep. absolutely. have i mentioned that denver seems to me like the cartoon version of other suburban-feeling cities and the very epitome of americana gone amok?
