Here in the Twin Cities, I would have to say January. January is the worst because althought it's pretty sunny and clear, it's just too cold. It can go up to 6,7,8,9 days in a row without getting over 10 degrees F. It can get really mentally and physically draining actually having to scurry from place to place if you're out doors!

I heard San Diego is gloomy in June....

Although I can't travel much in the Winter I prefer it to the Summer.

Feb. By that point i'm beyond sick and tired of cold, snow, winter, gray days, etc. and they just seem to keep on coming.

Yeah, February seems to be the toughest month in terms of weather here.

I'm guessing November, the days are getting shorter and shorter, and winter is around the corner.

The other would be February like others said tired of the cold ect.

February for me as well. Days are getting slightly warmer and there are hints of the coming Spring by the end of the month, but for just being 28 days long it sure seems like a LONG month.

For me, it's March. Although it is beginning to get warmer, (though usually not warm enough to be enjoyable) those warmer temps = mud. There is also the accumulated garbage, debris, and road salt/gravel that collected over the winter.
