"My town of Reston is known for the Ebola Virus outbreak in lab monkeys."

Hey there, neighbor! Reston is a cool town. It's also known for being the first planned urban community built by one man (or something like that). It was a pioneer in smart growth concepts, and had the first HOA in America. Today, it just looks like any suburban community but back in the 1960's it was a "grand experiment in utopian living." Robert E. Simon (the R-E-S in Reston) sold Carnegie Hall in NYC to finance his "artistic utopia way out in the Virginia woods."

Reston was once famous for coming up with creative solutions for urban problems. One of my favorite was the "cocktail" bus that served commuters to D.C. with coffee and donuts in the morning and cocktails at night.

Reston was also famous for promoting racial unity--scandalous back in the racist days of the early 1960s. Quite a few interesting free thinkers and artists have lived there. Reston is also the main location in "A Toast To Murder." In fact, most of the action takes place in Lake Anne Plaza.

Hay I thought Easton PA was the Christmas Tree capital! Oh well,no real way of telling. I guess any city could claim anything and no one would argue
Btw I got sort of a history with Indiana...back in '92 I ended up staying there on my trip to the State of Indiana. Years later I also dated someone from Kittanning and we hung out in Indiana I think and Butler.

Duluth, MN is known as the Zenith City, the furthest inland seaport in the world, the birthplace of Bob Dylan, and for being frickin cold!
