I still live where I was raised (I wasn't born here) and my mom's side has been in this state for generations. How about you?

I was raised in virginia, but now live in maryland. I like VA better than MD, to be honest. One reason is that VA looks better, has more young people, and MD just kills you with taxes.

No, I don't live in the same state, but I would like to return someday (Missouri). We moved away when I was in high school. I moved back to a different part of the state for a couple years after college, but left the state again. Up until my parents left the area, our family lived in the same part of the state ever since immigrating to this country in the late 1800s and early 1900s.

oh my grandfather's family came here in the 1800's in Nelson County, Washington county and Meade county. He and my grandma stayed in Louisville where he raised his kids and now here we are still. His siblings and their kids are all still in meade county (I think)
