My favorite bridges:
Lake Ponchartrain Causeway in New Orleans (It's not really architecturally interesting but just knowing that it's the world's longest is neat)

Ben Franklin Bridge in Philly(I stayed in the Comfort Inn right next to it and I just fell in love with it)

Rainbow Bridge in Port Arthur (I just remember being amazed at how high up it went to cross the Neches River, the only thing I enjoyed about that city though)

Brooklyn Bridge (enough said)

The Astoria-Megler Bridge crosses the Columbia River near Astoria, Oregon, (I just thought it was really pretty)

Maybe you should elaborate on that Brooklyn one there. I don't get it.

The Golden Gate Bridge is my favorite and I also love the variety of scenic backgrounds or when the fog is rolling in

Wow, when I was younger my mom used to hate to have to use the Causeway in Louisiana, and the Rainbow Bridge whenever we drove across the south from Texas to Georgia.

Between the Brooklyn and Golden Gate, I choose the Golden Gate. It's awesome, but there are a lot of really nice photos being submitted on other magnificent bridges.

I absolutely adore covered bridges. Here are two that I think are very sweet.

There are so many beautiful bridges here; it's a shame I have to go with the Causeway Bridge. It's not pretty, but I gotta go with the home team.
