It'll be useless.

I voted for Omaha. I have never been there but I would kill to see the elitist national media set foot in Nebraska.

I happen to agree with you. But that's much too simple. Besides, it doesn't leave room for all sorts of nonsensical speculation about moving the capital--as though that would affect the operation of the government one iota.

I'd agree, but it would have to be in its own district--not a state

and DC would go to Maryland

Well, I voted to keep it where it is.

But, how about International Falls, MN? That would keep us from having so many career politicians!

Keep it where it is, without the Feds here DC wouldn't be much.

Cincinatti Ohio or Saint Louis Mo would be good choices. During the war of 1812 moving the capitol to Cincinatti was discussed. Being 800 miles inland would have some advantage

Well, in spite of the fact that moving the capital doesn't actually make any sense, I've decided to jump in and play the game. And so I propose that we move the capital to someplace where our duly elected representatives have no choice but to hunker down and do the job we put them in office to do. I propose that the new national capital be located in (the envelope, please)...

Barrow, Alaska--on the shores of the Beaufort Sea.
