Please list the specific mountain if possible or at the very least the state the mountain range is in, since some mountain ranges are in different states, but the appearance of the mountains can vary even if it is in the same mountain range.

Well I like all mountains but am a bit biased in favor of the Green Mountains, part of the Appalachians. The Rocky Mts. are nice too but more rugged.

I think Washington has some of the most beautiful mountains in the U.S. But nothing beats Alaska.

Yeah, nothing beats Alaska.
The Rockies are stunning as are the Grand Tetons. I'd say the Adirondacks and the Great Smoky's are up there too.

Special affinity for the White Mts. of New Hampshire, part of the Appalachians.
Although I do love the epic scope of Mts out west.

Went up to Tuckerman's Ravine yesterday and the whole area is just gorgeous. Tuck's is a bowl on Mt. Washington that people ski well into the spring. Driving up there we went through Franconia and Crawford Notches which are stunning places to drive.

Go to Alaska, Pacific Northwest, California or Colorado. That is where the best mountains are.

I haven't traveled much, but I'm with Cool regarding the California Sierras. I love the look of blue waters with pine forests and grey granite.
