Most people have a particular job which they say they would never do. For example, some say they would never work a dirty job, such as a Coal Miner or Garbage Collector, others hate office or desk jobs and would not even consider such an occupation;others hate jobs that require them to deal with people or the general public and despise such work.

I have even heard people say that they would take a job picking up road-kill or shoveling animal excrement before accepting a job they did not like.

What job would you have difficulty accepting, even if you were out of work.

I went to school to be a paralegal because I thought it would entail alot of research and leg-work. turns out it's alot of paper pushing and I can't do that.

I could never be a Police Officer. Jumping over fences chasing down bad guys like I've seen on Cops just is not my style. Not to mention the corruption and abuse of power that goes on in this profession. Anything but a cop for me.

Any job where I can't be the boss, or at least see that I could not work my way UP to the boss position.

Any job with no Internet Access. Without access, I could not post on message boards during slow times at work.

Any job at a Walmart, McDonalds, or a convientent store.

I don't want to offend anybody but I would have a terribly hard time applying for a job at one of those places. I just couldn't face my friends or family if I worked there.

I would agree with dorado. Any area of law enforcement I would pass on. I'm not someone who enjoys, believes in or advocates an institution enforcing oppressive policies in order to shape behavior. This is definetely a profession that pays good money but for moral reasons I would pass. Social services is another one because most don't operate in the manner that they're supposed to. I believe any profession that has a degree of empathy and pushes people to the greater good would be of interest. However, we have yet to discover ANY occupation that is not profit driven.

Ok, I will just be very blunt....I could never handle a factory job, a cleaning job, or most other blue collar jobs. So little money for so much effort!

I don't at all mind menial labor, good for the soul. Before college one summer I worked for the city picking up rocks behind a truck, fun! Before summer was over, I was operating all those big trucks and the machinery. No pay raise though, but was okay, I was off to my start my future that Fall!
