There are more white than black people in the world but more minorities choose to live in Rivderdale because other races feel like being in areas such as Fayetteville or Peachtree City. If you want traffic then you can live out further out of the area surrounding the airport. If you want a close commute then Clayton, Fayette or Fulton county will serve the purpose you need. Certain areas of the city are more prevalent as someone stated earlier; it depends on where you live. Certain parts of the city that consists of majority whites living there have their fair share of crime as well. The choice is yours.
Riverdale deserves its rap. I am not picking a fight, but it's plain as day. These aren't imaginary problems or differences of opinion. The main reason Riverdale is a bad joke is that the voters of that municipality do not give a damn.

I just moved from Riverdale after living there for 25 years, was born and raised there, my parents still live there. My husband lived there for 8 years. We are all white. I might suggest staying away from the apt complexes. They are pretty high crime (as are most affordable metro atlanta area apts.) Houses are dirt cheap in Riverdale right now, maybe consider renting in one of the neighborhoods. Riverdale gets a worse rap than it deserves. Overall the people are wonderful and friendly. Still a lot of families just living their lives. I love my hometown.

Try the historic downtown areas in East Point and College Park. I am a white in East Point and I love it here. There's a Marta station downtown and both the airport and Delta HQ are 5 miles away.

Any white person wanting to live in Riverdale needs a mental evaluation.
