Default S.E. Georgia, you out there?

We are considering an area with the zip code 31523. I belive it is Brunswick or Jesup. Please, any information about the area. We were there for the weekend a short time ago, I know there isn't much out there, but that is what we are looking for. Quiet home town feeling. Less hustle bustle.

Maybe the lack of responses should tell me something. Is it that poor of an area, or are people just not so consumed with modern technology in Brunswick/ Jesup area?

Hi Q Baby, Forgive me but my fingers are just to tired to type tonight so here is a copy and paste from one of my post a month ago.

Brunswick is a very lovely city. In the past few years they have restored the downtown and now have sidewalk cafes and quaint shops. Many of the streets are draped with a canopy of moss covered live oak trees. Lots of new and old residences are restoring old in town homes. In the summer you’ll get cool breezes from the ocean and the winters are mild with very little real cold days. To the west of Brunswick across the marsh is Sea Island and St. Simon Island. The beaches are beautiful and upscale shopping if you’re into that. Also, it’s good to see how the other half lives. Sea Island Drive is one of the most expense residential streets in America.

Also, I have photos of Brunswick and be happy to e-mail.

Daryl

31523 is Brunswick, but you really should check out Jesup. It's about 28,000 people, 40 miles from the beach, and it's very laid back. The people are friendly and if you want a little more excitement, there's Brunswick and Savannah's only an hour and a half away. Check the web site - Wayne County Chamber of Commerce. Moderator cut: removed Jesup has a good home town feeling.
