There are nice areas in Norcross. One is historic Norcross and another one is West Norcross. West Norcross is a portion along Peachtree Parkway while historic Norcross is the city of Norcross itself. Both areas are very nice and upscale. The housing in those areas are very pricey. Most sell for 350,000 and up. Those neighborhoods actually are a lot more expensive than a lot places in Suwanee and Duluth.

Gwinett village (part of unincorporate Norcross, part of unincorporated Lawrenceville and part of unincorporated lilburn) is the run down area. A lot of crime you hear from news are from that part of area. The big reason is that there is understaff problem within Gwinnett polices and code reinforcement division. It is very sad to see such big area with such potential go down rapidly. It is really very central location since it is so close to MARTA train station.

A third of the county's robberies and a quarter of its aggravated assaults and car thefts take place in the Gwinnett Village Community Improvement District, a region that spans Interstate 85 in Norcross and Lilburn. It is also home to a third of the county's drug distribution and nearly half of Gwinnett's prostitution and sex crimes.

Jx,
Did you hear where they are trying to run the MARTA Bus line up to Exit 104?
Want to make the station stop in the Gwinnett Mall area. From my understanding use one of the empty car garages off Commerce and Satellite.

And they are trying to improve Gwinnett Place Mall?

Default Georgia

I have some questions about Georgia.
How is the real estate market?
How are the people?
Are they late back, down to earth, friendly,
spiritual, babtists?

I'm looking more for a growth are, with more
open minded people, new age.

thanks.
