. . . do keep your doors locked; house and vehicle. other than that, all should be well.

welcome again.

Oh, don't worry I done seen that area where the projects are around Ulmer/Lake Park Rd./Fry St. area. They are not anything compared to where I grew up a good while back in Baltimore. They have nothing I want in a section like that so I highly doubt I will need motivation to avoid there except to maybe take a short cut or something. Also that 'hood between W. Gordon and River St. is not all that pretty either. So, see, I did take a quick looksie around to see what I was getting into, while I got the apartment. Remerton seemed unique with the way that 'village' was inserted into the city. I know there is some history to that and I will be discovering all that I can. That area slightly south of Remerton is similar to Little Miami though. I will take it slow absorbing nearly all of the neighborhoods of Valdosta except for the forbidden section you first told me about.

Thank you! I am back in depressing Hanover, PA now though. I have to wait very impatiently for 2 months to be a Valdostan though. should be around the 2nd week of April. By the way, the snow really sucks up here in PA, but I was glad to have experienced a few pleasant weather days down in GA this week. That is more than most of these drab people up here can say, lol.

Default Moving

I am moving with my family(3 yr. old boy an 2 yr. old girl) from upstate New York and I wanted to know of any good places to live outside of the city. We are looking for good neighborhoods with good school districts. I read alot of posts. I don't want to be anywhere near any bad areas. We used to live in Alpharetta before we moved back to N.Y. and we are looking for something along the lines of that town.
