Default Woodbury, Monticello, Molena Georgia Info?
I'm looking to move from NC to GA, and wondered if anyone has info about small towns outside of Atlanta area -- Woodbury, Monticello, Molena?
Don't want the typical suburban sprawl kind of areas that are showing up everywhere here in NC. Want quiet, quaint, older houses, and small farms still owned by families. Is there anything like that within an hour of Atlanta?

My cousin lives in a 1880 house in Molena. She likes it well enough. She homeschools and has never had the kids in school in Georgia, so I don't know what they are like up there.

We are looking to move to Monticello Georgia. People sure seem to love it, but don't say much else about it. How is the community? Farmers Markets? Local Festivals or Craft Fairs? Is the Deer Celebration fun?
Are the winters horrible and cold?
Does it rain much there?
Anyone know about the Turtle Cove area?
Any info would be greatly appreciated!
