I live about 3 miles from Helen GA and I have daily visits from my bear family. There is a mama bear and 4 - yes 4 cubs! They climb up on my porch via the railing and eat the cat food. After they finish eating, they just leave. If there is no cat food left outside they don't come up looking for anything else. I think they probably just go to the next house.
