And the point is? Gas prices everywhere are going up- not just in Georgia- and our prices are at or below the national average in most places. The stations are only allowed to raise their prices once per day- it just happens to be occuring during her drive to and from school. Oh well.....

Exactly, and people seem to forget that oil prices are tied into many macroeconomic events and that externalities play a big role. The value of the US dollar and disruptions in Africa and the middle east are just current examples. On top of that is the increasing demand and diminishing supply.

I sometimes think people believe that some fat, bald, cigar smoking executive in a corner office just unilaterally raises gasoline prices because he hates poor people and senior citizens.
