Default Possible Relo To Albany
Possible Relo to Albany for a job in one of the hospitals.

I'm moving from Hickory NC.

Anyone know (first hand) if there are any good public school systems there?

I'm also interested to email/speak w/ someone who has first hand knowledge of that area. woooshhhhh@yahoo.com

try Leesburg in Lee County just outside Albany. That is the high growth area. Less crime too.

I lived there for 22 years--born and raised. Go private school if you can afford it--Deerfield is expensive but sherwood or Byne are affordable. If you move, try to live in Lee County--houses and areas are nicer.

Given that the original post was in summer of '06, I figure things are settled for him one way or another by now. Hope he steered clear of Albany itself, for his own sake.
