Anyone living in Sterling on the Lake in Flowery Branch? We'll be moving from South Florida in a few months and have 2 kids age 9 & 12. Any info would be great. just wondering if there are any other south Floridians who have moved there.
Just wondering if anyone has an opinion on areas in and around Flowery Branch. We looked at Sterling on the Lake and loved it. I guess i should have named the post differently. How is it for kids? safety? and things to do? Getting freaked out by some of the posts. GA looked so beautiful & friendly at first glance.... But Yikes!! Should I just stay in South Florida and hope we don't get blown away by the next hurricane???? We lost 2 days of school a few weeks ago just because we were in "the cone of error" with Hurricane Ernesto. Days of no TV all they showed is NEWS 24\7 watching people stock up on water, gas and flashlights & waiting for the "updates" ..... I'm over it. but geez, it is beginning to sound better than moving to GA based on what I've read.
Anywone living in that area with kids have any feelings about the schools? drugs? gangs? trouble in general??? I want the negatives as well as positives!!!
HELP! I'm second guessing the move. Bigtime.
