Georgia (Covington, Conyers: schools, property taxes, shops)

I am considering relocating from Florida to GA in the next year or two and would like some information on Counties with low property taxes and good job opportunities. I am in the administrative/clerical field and my husband is a driver. We are looking for a new sub division or community that is not too far from the highway and shops. We visited Covington and Conyers during the early part of August but want to explore other possibilities before making our decision. Our children are grown so schools would not be of any concern to us. Any information would be greatly appreciated.
