Wink Moving to Gwinnett

Hi all, I am a carpenter ready to leave florida, my dad who is getting on in years lives in Roysten. We have decided to move closer to him. I am looking for a house in dis-repair to fix it over time. (No morgage needed).

Maybe a three two two in a populated suburb with hospatals and jobs ect.
I have spoken with Dad and really do not know much about Georga.

Any input or advise will be apprecaited.

Thanks
Dtarling

Dtarling, Roysten is a small city, no too much going on, but if you can settle for Athens, it is 30 miles south of Roysten, you can find a fixer uper for $100,000 and live in a more populated city with jobs, universities and shopping. let me know if we can help you
Make It a Great Day!

Royston is only about a hour from NE Atlanta area called Gwinnett where I live. I had a farm just south of Royston. Great place but not enough work up there. Move closer to Atlanta to find work but near enough to dad so you can visit conviently. In Royston go to the Bar H BBQ spot for the best ribs. It is on 29 south out of town. Open Thur thru Sat only. They are still building house and renovating left and right here so a job should be no problem. I bought a 3/1 fixer upper in Buford for less that $50 k last year. You will find something.
