I watched the Curaçao/Japan and Georgia/Texas games today. Congrats Warner Robins! Japan looks to be a very hard team to beat, but I have faith in Georgia

We were the underdogs going into today's game. Either way they are the US Champs and our Champs.

Congratulations! Just wish Warner Robins could do more than just some parade, and a welcome back in the BIG LOTS parking lot.

They changed the location from Big Lots to the Flint Sports Complex behind Houston County High School. So, welcome back celebration, a parade down Watson, and a celebration at the civic center. What else should they have done?

mmmm, Let's see, about every business in town has a Welcome Home Champs message. The mayor met the kids at the airport. They got a police escort from the Atlanta Airport back to Warner Robins. They had a big charter bus all to themselves. Folks in town raised money for their families to help with expenses for the whole month they traveled, three weeks of that being in Williamsburg. Everyone I've talked to knows each kid by name and nickname by now. For the Little Team That Could I'm betting they have all they want right now. I'm sensing they would like to start school and see their friends. I bet they slept great in their own beds last night.

Come to the parade!
And if anyone would like to come to the World Championship parade honoring the Little Leaguers, it will be on Saturday, September 1, 2007 at 10 a.m.
The parade will start at the old Houston Mall in Warner Robins and head east down Watson Boulevard to the Civic Center beside City Hall.
