Rebecca,
I'm pretty sure that you've got Emory docs in Fayetteville. Not positive, but pretty sure. We don't live near Fayetteville, but in trying to find Emory docs in our neck of the woods I believe that Fayetteville was mentioned as the closest to us.
You can call Emory and ask what docs are in your area. The calls to Emory are answered by RN's. Over the past few years I've made a lot of calls to Emory and every call BUT ONE was answered in a really hepful way.
One of those RNs can explain if there is an Emory associated facility in or near Fayetteville and if not, can give you names of docs in Fayetteville that are associated with Emory.
If you're every looking for a doc to do regular annual breast exams/mammograms I'd do it at Emory because if they ever find anything (not necessarily cancer, but anything), you would be immediately switched over to the part of Emory that deals with that and believe me, that part of Emory is state of the art and the nurses and radiologists in that section are G-R-E-A-T and so is the atmosphere. Also, Emory does a lot of research.
You may not be looking for a place for annual exams and/or mammograms, but I thought I'd toss that out.
