The schools there aren't even in the top 200 schools in Georgia. When we lived in Hinesville, everyone referred to Ludowici as "the swamp".

Interesting that zero Cobb County schools made this list but seem to be very well represented on other lists.

I guess each arbitrary set of measurements generates its own arbitrary set of results. Although one high school that I *know* is good quality (Edina High School, Edina MN) seems to appear on every list that I've seen.

I'm not sure where US News & World Report got their data but I used the GDOE stats and a ranking of 278 is not in the top 200 and IMO, is hardly a top school. Also the OP has children 8 and 2 (and has decided to move to Dallas, GA so why we're beating this dead horse, I don't know) so high school is not an immediate concern.
