I was wondering if anyone has the same problem? Our water smells like chlorine bleach. We have city water. When I fill the bath tub or flush the toilet it permeates the entire bathroom. It is really strong! Does anyone else have the same experience with their water? Does anyone know why the smell is so strong?

Chlorine is routinely used to sanitize municipal water systems, and small amounts within normal ranges are usually in tap water. If you think you have abnormal levels, test the water and contact your water provider. There are usually state and federal limits that must be met for cholrine ppm.

You can buy chlorine filters at most health food stores. I have not used one, and can't really vouch for their efficacy, but I would buy them if I moved to an area with high levels of chlorine in the tap water.

It's one thing to be safe and drink non-contaminated water. It's another to feel like you're drinking and bathing in pool water.
