Default How about Rabun County?

My husband and I are originally from the Phili area. We lived in Florida and then Atlanta. Now we live in the NE GA mountains in a town called Clayton. You will find some residual redneckery, but more and more yuppies and artists, writers, etc are moving in because there are still affordable homes and lots. There are 2 lakes and a quaint downtown. There is a small winery and if you play golf, there are condos, homes and homesites for sale at Kingwood Country Club. There's also a spa, a nice restaurant and a lounge here.

Default nyc to Atl.

hi- i live in nyc and looking forward to relocating to Atlanta by the end of july. i heard that Atl. does not take kindly to Northerner's; and that it will be hard to get a job, when there are so many people graduating from Clarke and Moorehouse, any truth in this?

Half of Atlanta is made of northerners! You shouldn't have a problem at all. Atlanta (city) limits is not "southern" at all.
