Out of curiosty, how does everyone figure Columbus has the largest corporate base outside of Atlanta? Is it proven on paper or word of mouth. Is it in terms of revenue or the number of corporations, please enlighten me.

I don't question it at all, I trust the good people of Columbus not to mislead the public. Aflac is the one I'm familiar with the most.

I know Aflac but is that the only company in Columbus? Augusta has Club Car and EZGO.

TSYS and Synovus are the others, both are also in the financial services industry. Employing 10,000 between the 3 of them.

Carmike Cinemas, Char-broil, Blue Cross Blue Shield of Georgia, etc are others in Columbus.

Could I add that Augusta is the largest shopping destination outside of Atlanta or is that considered bashing?
