My neighbor received a warning citation from the water company. Apparently the post-man called when he spotted several people in the neighborhood watering during the against the restrictions.

I've never seen anyone water their lawn in my neighborhood. Ever. Somehow, everyone still manages to have a green lawn.

Default No water

In east central part of the state, we are used to water restriction. Normally the even-numbered addresses can water on Tues, Thurs and Sat, while the odd numbers water on Wed, Fri and Sun. No watering on Monday. That included any outside watering. Folks are very good about following that.
If we were in a total ban, I expect people would follow that as well. It hurts everyone if you don't.

Yes and No.
Yes, what I'm saying is that professional "Pressure Washing Companies" are exempt still and are still allowed to conduct their daily business.
No, do not attempt to clean your home yourself, since you are not a "Pressure Washing Company" and are not exempt.
You can find a link to all the rules and exemptions at: www.PowerWashOfAtlanta.com

Default The "pro installation" clause is a joke

My neighbor across the street had a couple flats of flowers installed at the end of her driveway and around her mailbox. She evidently doesn't have a hose, so she "had to turn on the sprinklers" for the whole lawn to be able to water her "professionally installed" new landscaping.

What an absolute disregard for the intent of the law.

This loophole was closed this week. If I see her watering on Saturday morning again, there will be some spy photos and a call to 911!

No. One of my neighbors was washing her car about 2 weeks ago.

I must say that since my county stated that they'd shut your water off immediately for non-compliance....everyone who brushed the ordinance off has been scared straight.
