Hello ,My family and I are planning to move from New jersey to Georgia sometime in Feb.Although Atlanta seems to be the hot spot for the great north to south migration, i'm trying not to move in that area. I've been checking out the Mcdonough area. I'm a single parent with a 19yr old in college ,two 16yr old High School sophmores' and a 6th grader, so finding a good school district is important. I'm moving mainly because, i can't afford to live in New Jersey any longer. I pay over 1200 dollars a month in rent for a small row home with a backyard you can jump from the back door to the back gate with one jump. I live in a small town that is , between Trenton and Camden NJ that used to a nice quiet town but is now infested with gang members of all races, and its getting worse day by day. MY parents just packed up and moved to Florida ,and the told me it would be wise for me to get out asap.

Well, something to consider- $1,200/month will get you more house here, but you're not going to pay much less than that and be able to live in a safe neighborhood with good schools. Unless you've got a job lined up already and can afford to pay $1,000-1,200/month for rent, I'd seriously reconsider your idea.
