Any suggestions for Halloween activities in N. GA? I've heard there is a haunted gold mine in Dahlonega--has anyone been to it, and is it worthwhile?
We would love to find something unusual (as long as it's not put on by an evangelical church group--I'm really tired of getting slapped with a heavy "message" at a haunted house that turns out to be a haunted abortion clinic, etc.) |

Truth is, not much attention is paid to Halloween here. In 20 years, exactly 0 kids have come to my door. I must admit that I do not let that deter me from stocking up on chocolate candy, however. ![]() |

At Rock City they have the Forest of Fear. Forest of Fear presented by Rock City
And, of course, there are many pumpkin farms in N.GA. I like Burt's. |
