Steer clear of Calhoun as it is comparable to what Dalton was 10 years ago and steadily rising to the pace and geographics as Dalton. Ringgold would somewhat nice also.[/quote Truth speaker, if Dalton is such a bad place to live why don't you move, you warn everyone not to move here but yet you are still here. It just doesn't make much sense that if it is so bad in Dalton why are you still here?
Because if my house sells, I WILL NOT BE HERE much longer and neither will the other middle class locals that once called this home.

Those towns are a lot nicer than Dalton.

Dalton has been my home for all my life but I have finally given up on it ever getting any better. I am now settling my affairs so I can leave this God forsaken town. Believe what you will but all you have to do is come here and stay a week. If you speak spanish and your a member of MS-13 or little tinki wino's then you will love it here. Otherwise I would reccommend you steer far and wide. Yeah I know a safe community here. It is called "the farm". It is a gated community with 24 hour armed gaurds. It is populated by the people who imported this problem here to begin with. They turned this town into a nightmare then they went and built a fortress to live in while leaving us regular citizens out here to deal with it.

ah hell ztc let em rant all they want about hispanics (and yes you knuckleheads i didnt say mexican for dalton has a rich latino immigrant population-not just mexican) because simply put, they are just plain dumb.

dalton has a bad rep because the attitudes of its people (we here across the river have been dealing with it for decades-way before the immigrant population boom)

what makes dalton seem unsafe is your average ill-informed or overreacting citizen who simply doesnt have a clue as to the actual truth

also, here at a real "farm" (no armed guards, houses, gates, etc) ive worked side by side with people of all races/cultures and the ones i hate to deal with the most are white people, simply because they have that im too good for this attitude

measure a city by the attitudes of its people, not the color of their skin
