What are your opinions of the Kingsland area? (Jackson, Jacksonville: low crime, safe area)

Hi everyone,
I just wanted to see your opinions of the Kingsland area.
Is it a safe area to live? Would it be a good place to raise children? How is the cost of living and taxes? I also work in the healthcare field so how would the commute from Kingsland to Camden Medical Center be? I used to live in Brooklyn, NY so it usually took me an hour to get to work in the morning.

Any feedback would be appreciated

Camden County has GREAT schools. Kingsland has a very quaint, small town downtown area as well as a larger developing commercial area closer to the interstate.

I think your "commute" would be about 10 minutes. LOL.

what "commute" ??? it's pretty much open range with a few traffic lights but nothing like a major city ......
has a SuperWalmart,Lowes , K-Mart, two other big grocery stores,China Wok and a couple other Chinese joints,lots and lots of fast food restuarants,a few truck stops ... not a whole lot more .... a bunch of religious facilities if you are into that ... a Rec Center with year round outdoor pool (heated in winter) Raquetball,Gym, and their is a private womans Gym ... not much to say ... alot of parks for children, ........ aprx 20 miles from the first Outlet Mall Center in Jacksonville at Airport Rd ....... low crime
