Thanks a million. One more question. We are pretty familiar with the town lake area. Like it alot. So, other than that, what would be your next choice in woodstock as far as a good area or neighborhood or part of town to live in?

Default Lake Allatoona real estate

We recently purchased a home in Towne Harbor, a development that borders Lake Allatoona off of Bells Ferry Road less than 5 miles from the Woodstock, Town Lake area. Our property adjoins the US Army Core of Engineers property (that surrounds the lake) and is waterfront! The walk down the hillside on our property toward the lake features several small creeks and lots of deer and other wildlife which are plentiful in the area. If you're interested in living near the lake, check out subdivisions in this area, awesome!

As for traffic, getting around Woodstock and the surrounding areas is relatively easy once you get familiar with the secondary roads. I would use I-75 and I-575 (heading toward/from Atlanta) during rush hour as a last resort if possible.
