Default chickamauga

I've used this site for years and never replied so here goes.
Used to live there and yes, it is boring.
It depends on what you are looking for. Some like boring.A lot of history buffs, and redneck type. Some mountains, mostly in distance. But overall a nice little town.
The KKK race stuff about Chickamauga, and Trenton area is true. Get anywhere in North Georgia on the TN/NC line and you will find it. Again, some care, some don't. But, make no mistake, it is there.
There is not a WalMart or really any stores, other than civil war or tea shop downtown. There are plenty or restaurants. People in the south do like their food!
Question-
Why would anyone move to north Georgia when they can go 5 more miles and not have to pay state taxes? I never understood that.
I lived there, because my ex did. But, I would never ever do that.
Crazy!
Best wishes to all

Does anyone know what the growth expectancyis in these small towns bordering Chattanooga? Seems it is already flowing over into Rossville.
