The only Jacksonville in Georgia is located way up in the mountains by Blairsville.

There is a Jacksonville in Telfair County, Georgia, around eighty miles east of Americus.

To get there you would have to cross over the Flint River. And then you would have to cross the Ocmulgee River, which is near Jacksonville.

That's a new one to me. I'm from Americus and the closest river is the Flint, about 20 miles to the east out GA280.

Jacksonville, GA is above the Ocmulgee River about 3 miles and about 19 miles south of McRae, GA in Telfair county. It now is an intersection with a traffice signal and several older empty storefronts from its
boom days back before WWII. It was large enough in the 1930s to have its own Coca Cola bottline plant!
