I will be moving to Georgia in several months and would appreciate any advice. We plan to move north of Atlanta or east of Atlanta, but hope to stay relatively close to 85, as we are from TN and would like to be able to get on 85, 285, and 75 easily.

We are looking into the following cities: Alpharetta, Suwanee, Cumming, Loganville, Lawrenceville, Auburn, and Buford. Which would you suggest?

I have lived in small towns most of my life, but have also lived in cities. I would prefer somewhere with a small town feel, but would like to still be close to areas to shop, etc. I have a 3 year old and I am a teacher so an area with good schools are important.

Any advice would be appreciated!
