Probably a pipe dream. But I'm think some kind of coalition of AA's, women, and young people? I think it really depends on who the GOP nominates.

She sounds like a community organizer. Why has she never run for an elected office such as a city council, state representative or a town mayor. I'd rather have someone, democrat or republican or independent who has had experience with running a government or a business which tries to make money rather than someone used to using other people's money with not really any accountability such as the voting booth. I imagine she is a fine person but time and again we do not get results from amateurs who want to start off at the top. I won't be voting for her despite my admiration for her father who I had hoped would run for the White House during his day.

She won't. Georgia is changing, but it will be at least 5 and probably 10 years before we are purple and democrats stand a chance to win a senate seat from this state. Right now...no chance. Just my opinion.

Community organizer?
Somebody explain to me what that means.
I know that unions used to send them into mill towns to get the workers 'organized'. But what does it mean anymore except to be a professional pot-stirrer and attract media attention/fundraising?

I'm guessing that was a poke at the President, who has been repeatedly called "The Community Organizer in Chief" by a few factions around the country.

Funny, I finally saw one of her commercials the other day. Not once was the word 'Democrat' uttered, and there were no references to the current administration at all. The message I received was that she is positioning herself as a moderate and a party maverick.
I think that's exactly how she should play it.

Then she is entirely naive or a liar. When these people get to Washington for a long 6 year term, they are sucked into the system either willingly or reluctantly but nonetheless they get owned. Lobbyists show up with the goodies, Defense Dept falls all over themselves to suck up. Independent? Fuhgettaboutit!!!

It's not about who she is, it's about how she is perceived by Georgia voters going into an election...after all, she has to get elected first. That was my point.
Frankly, I tend to agree with your assessment.

As a non-sociopath and a historian, I view that sign as more of a sardonic expression of frustration than some type of command that Wall St. criminals were supposed to follow.

Of course I don't want any of them to jump. It would create a huge mess and likely cause all sorts of psychological problems for witnesses.

I'm sorry, but what on earth are you talking about?
