No! If you need to stay in Clayton go south Forest Park ,Morrow, or Jonesboro.
But if you can check out Henry, and Fayette counties.

No generally it's not.
Though much maligned, there are very nice areas of Clayton County to the south of Riverdale such as in Lovejoy or near Mundy's Mill High School to the southwest of Jonesboro.
Also, there are very nice areas to the east & southeast of Jonesboro that probably all feed into Jonesboro High School.
Real estate in the county is very much on the cheap, even where I live east of Jonesboro and from where I am to areas on east which are very nice to absolutely beautiful, as in Lake Spivey & Lake Jodeco.

Oh yeah if you need good schools in Clayton Forest Park and Morrow are the best high schools.
But the schools in Fayette and Henry rank better.

Another NO vote here.

Even though Riverdale and Clayton County are cheaper than most other places in Metro Atlanta, unless one is abso-freakin'-lutely desperately dead broke, completely out-of-options and knows no better options for dirt-cheap living accommodations, the increasing instability of the county school board and the county government make Clayton County a place to avoid at virtually all costs at this point in time.

The vote tally so far: 0 yes votes and 7 NO votes.
