Default Is PTC a good community for retired couple?

Will be relocating to Atlanta next year & was considering PTC as an alternative. Have read few threads on this forum but will love some feedback. Following are the details:
Chose Atlanta as our sons lives there.
My husband will be retired, plays golf & tennis.
I"ll have a part time job in downtown.
Planning to spend between 350-400K, 3B's top, in a more adults' oriented community, preferibly on golf course & club house.
Please... in which sub-divisions should I look for.

There are lots of retirees moving here - mainly following family members who have moved here or to other parts of the Atlanta metro area.
I cannot off hand think of any Adults only communities that are right on any of the golf courses. Most that I can think of are not far from them though.
My favorite of all the golf communites is Golf view which is an area with older homes for Peachtree City. I love the views on to the Flat Creek golf course that many of these homes have and most of the homes for sale there are well in that price range. They are located off of Flat Creek trail at Golf View drive.

Default Listed as one of the best places to retire

Peachtree City was listed as one of the best places to retire. There is a world class tennis center, numerous golf courses and a golf cart path system that goes all over the city. Most people here own their own golf cart and use it to play on the courses.

I have lived here since July and moved from Putnam County, New York. I love it here. Feel free to use my website as a source of information. www.lisabyer.com Let me know if you need any help with anything.

PTC is a great place to retire b/c it's ammenities (golf cart paths, parks, etc.) are very retiree friendly. However, many younger families live there too. So, as a retiree, I think it would be a perfect place to live b/c you will be able to get around peacfully and have the blessings of being with people of all ages.

You can check out my neighborhood, Belle Grove. www.bellegroveptc.com

Thanks,
