I still say savannah wins the prize, because of the density and dramatic backdrop of the bridge.

Macon has the best Skyline out side metro Atlanta.

Athens and Columbus shouldn't even be brought up, they dont have skylines. I'm not sure why cdw1084 has Decatur above Macon, Savannah, and Augusta.

This definitely is not more impressive.

This is entirely OPINIONATED. Until some of you boosters understand that, it'll just be a pointless spat fest. It has been this way for YEARS.

Anyway, my list is as follows...

1) Atlanta Midtown
2) Atlanta Downtown
3) Atlanta Buckhead
4) Atlanta Perimeter
5) Savannah
6) Macon
7) Augusta
8) Columbus

Outside of Atlanta, Georgia isn't really known for skylines. I really don't expect one to expand anytime soon either... outside of the Atlanta business districts. An opinion. Obviously.

Downtown Columbus wasn't built to have a skyline like Augusta and Macon.

That doesn't makes sense at all.... There is No city that was planned for High rises because back in those days (1800s) Skylines wasn't even a thought or in anyone's planning.

I don't even know what that's supposed to mean, but Columbus would have more of a skyline if its home corporations would have actually built office towers downtown instead of on the fringes of downtown or lowrise corporate campuses downtown.

This is very true. I'll never understand why Aflac was allowed to build an office tower on Wyntonn Road. It looks silly. And TSYS and Synovus could have both afforded signature towers downtown if they wanted to.
