ATLCOL1 I wouldnt go as far as saying Columbus is ranked #1 or # as the best public high school each year. If you could possibly provide some sources that would be great, not saying it isnt possible, I just havent heard of that. Last I check there Augusta's Johnson Magnet was number one, and there were several schools tied for number two, between Savannah Arts Academy, Houston County Career Tech Center, and several other schools that I cant recall the name as of right now.

Columbus High School is ranked third out of 369 Georgia public high schools (2007) and was the number one public high school in 2004 and 2005. It is always ranked in the top 10 if not the top 5 in Georgia. Brookstone School is a private school that is ranked high as well. Last edited by ATLCOL1; 01-31-2008 at 03:28 PM. |

Yes it is childish. I only asked to see the source from which you got the information, anyone and everyone can post a comment about would-be statistics. Thanks you for your source and immediate response.

Hi Guy From Macon. I Grew Up In Columbus. I Lived There Until 20 Years Ago. I Am Old Enough To Remember The Second Division. I Am Not Going To Defend Columbus's Attributes To Someone Like You. Since I Have Not Lived There For 20 Years I Am Not Certain What They Are. I Do Know That Columbus State U Is A Well-respected University In The State. I Know A Well-respected Professor And Well Know Author Who Earned Her Pd.d There. Soooo, If It Is Such A "dinky" University, How Did She Happen To Earn Her Degree? Also, To My Knowledge The Mercer Off-shoot In Macon Doesn't Offer That Degree. My Daughter Had To Go To The Atl Campus To Earn Her Ba! As For Not Liking Columbus----go Home! Are You Incarcerated? If Not, Goooo Home!!! Go Back To Macon. Run, Don't Walk. Who Says You Have To Stay In A Place You So Obviously Do Not Like. Or, Are You A Little Kid Who Has No Choice? If So , When You Reach The Ripe Old Age Of 18----gooooo Home!!!!!
