Smile Moving in June

Moving to the area in June.

I have to sell ouor house first and then we will be looking for a house down there. The wife is staying at an apartment that she has until July 1.

I am meeting with a realtor this weekend about our house.

Valdosta State University posts jobs on their website, although in my experience they can be very competitive (I worked at VSU for six years). Because there are a LOT more people wanting the jobs than jobs available, they can be very competitive, especially if you don't know anyone. The city posts jobs on City of Valdosta, GA : Home, although they are pretty competitive as well. I haven't lived there in a couple of years, but when I did live there, the smaller towns in the area were always looking for people qualified for social work positions, especially Echols County. Both Valdosta city schools and Lowndes County school districts post jobs - administrative as well as teaching - on their websites. I don't know if this has changed, but the county used to post way more jobs on the bulletin board in the main government building downtown than they ever advertised. If you're interested in university administration, you might check Valdosta Technical College as well.
