I grew up in emanuel county and can say that it's a great place to live and raise a family, but as far as IT jobs are concerned I imagine its quite limited. Unfortunatly, most jobs in emanuel county are for low-qualified and are low-paying. But you have your exceptions. There is a new Technology Park, but I don't know anything about the industries that are locating there. Your best bet is to contact the Swainsboro-Emanuel County Chamber of Commerce. As far as the schools are concerned, Emanuel County schools consistently rank above the state average. The Twin City school district it by far the best in Emanuel County. Both Twin City Elem. and Emanuel Co. Institute are state distinguished schools, have an exceptional faculty/staff and consistently excel.
