Anyone interested in moving to Georgia listen up! Don't move here! Find a more peaceful place to move to get away from stupid jerks that don't know how to drive in commute traffic.

I'm sure the overcrowding and bad drivers in Georgia aren't anything compared to where we are moving from (Toronto, Canada). Come here and experience sitting in bumper-to-bumper traffic (on a Sunday morning) on Canada's most major highway..... If the traffic is actually moving, watch out for all the nut cases on the road.

Believe me, problems exist wherever you go....they are not only in Georgia.

It is amazing how everybody seems to think they have the worst drivers. They're everywhere. Until they do something about some serious driver education in this country, and not giving out licenses like candy, there will continue to be bad drivers everywhere. Just learn to drive defensively and don't get upset.

I went into a gas station yesterday and there was this guy who apparently followed the girl in who was pumping next to me. She was just a teenager, an inexperienced driver who I'm sure did something stupid, but he went off on her, and he wouldn't let it go! I even told him to settle down, which of course made him mad at me. So the message I'm trying to send is, if there was no harm done, a toot on your horn and then get on with your life!

The problem is that all across the nation, our interstate highway system hasn't kept pace with the driving population. The interstate highway system went into action around 1956. Although construction on the Interstate Highway system continues, it was officially regarded as complete in 1991. This means that it has been over 15 years since any real push for more highways, but US population has gone from 230,000,000 to 300,000,000 during that time.

As much as foriegners like to complain about how bad our public transportation is, they fail to take into account that our nation is genrally 50 times larger than any one European nation. Sure it's easy to develop mass transit for a country like the UK which is about the size of Georgia. But, traveling by car in the US is the most economic and practical mode of transportation.

well but atlanta has pot holes in the interstate ...homeless venture out in traffic ..and ummm we have snipers ,,alot of them they hide in the bushes off I 75 and look for outta state tags and when they see one they fire ..

the cops are aware of it and they dont mind as long as the tags are outside of the southeast US ...so tennessee and the carolinas are safe here

alabama folks are not tho and florida folks are definatly not ....anything north of kentucky is bonus points for the sniper and thing west of alabama is also triple sniper points

only safe place in atlanta for newcomers is west end and bankhead area
maybe college park...head that way

Everywhere has bad drivers. Arizona in particular. In the week I was there, get this, my mother-in-law got hit in the side from a merging car, my father-in-laws Jeep was rear ended so bad that they totalled the vehicle, and then 5 days later, his rental got rear ended and also totalled. HAHAHAHA Seriously.

I dont know if any of you have been to Chicago, but we have our fair share as well. Ive been sitting in stop and go traffic and watched DOZENS of cars fly by doing 80 mph on the shoulder!!!!! And there were no exits anywhere, they just manipulate the situation and get as far as they can as fast as they can until its impossible for them to go any futher, and at that point they just barge in whenever they feel like it. Unbelievable!
