The chances of Atlanta gobbling up Chattanooga is slim to none, it's just to far away. I am sure the people in Chattanooga appreciate the distance that separate the two cities. Besides, metro Atlanta seems to be growing more towards the south and south west, more than it is towards the north. |

The major growth of metro atlanta is on the northeast side towards gainesville... definately not the southwest side. BUt really, about as far as a metro area can spread is around a 50 mile radius from the center.. even in Los Angeles,, the most sprawling metro area in the nation.. that is about the limit. So no.. Chattanooga nor Columbus nor even Macon will become a suburb of Atlanta..

yes it is a large arena if yaw ever watch wwe entertainment smackdown its been in our arena or civic center as we call it in columbus georgia anyway wwe entertainment smackdown has been on tv in our arena before its been in our arena twice on tvalso the arena has played host to a myriad of concerts sporting events and family shows including the original harlem globetrotters, the world famous lipizzaner stallions, world wrestling entertainment, bb king,patti labelle, reba mcintyre, lynyrd skynyrd, disney on ice,ringling bros. and barnum and bailey circus, leanne rhimes,lord of the dance, martina mcbride,big and rich,gretchen wilson and many more. and the arena has 10,000 arena seats like atlcol said
