Comparing Newark or Camden or Brooklyn, N.Y. has nothing to do with Georgan's or their interest in various towns here. There was a time when ALL of the smaller towns here were 'Leave it to Beaver' neighborhoods and maybe wer'e just trying to figure out where some of the cancers are coming from.
I agree.....

I didnt say that, but what I am saying is that on the census bureau site it states that Warner Robins, Forsyth, and Dublin are all in the Macon Metro area. It also states that Houston, Monoroe, Peach, Jones, Crawford, & Twiggs are all in the Bibb County Metro as well. Last I check everyone of thos cities fall in one of those counties. Bottomline Warner Robins is a great town, but it will be awhile before it becomes its own Metro. I also thought this thread was talking about 2nd Tier Cities, Warner Robins is not quite there either, but its still a great town nevertheless.

Does macon, columbus, or savannah have over 400 condos going up in their downtown this year like augusta.

A metropolitan area is a large population nucleus, together with adjacent communities having a high degree of social and economic integration with that core. Not some outer flung suburbs like every georgia city has. So to suggest macon has 22 counties and population of 600,000 is very misleading. How could macon support the same amount of people but macon metro is nowhere near augusta. That's like saying augusta supporsts the same amount of people as atlanta.

But ok i'll let you boast about your population with macon so called 22 counties. 600,000

Now i'll used the CSRA which is 41 cities for augusta. Burke, columbia, glascock, hancock, jefferson, jenkins, lincoln, mcduffie, mccormick, richmond, taliaferro, warren, washington, wilkes, barnwell, screven and ill stop there. I could add more.
The CSRA is over 1.5 million people.
this boostism you claim i made No Sir this comes for the developers reseach of Market for the New Mall in Macon.... so you tell them to cut the boostism because they are the one stated the facts.....
Jim Wilson and Associates, Inc.

Read this buddy.....
According the evaluation from developers "Macon serves as the center of industry, medicine, higher education and retail sales for a 22 county trade area. This area, with a population of more than 612,000, provides a broad, strong market for local business and industry." like i said previously alot you guys need to read and do your research before you run you mouth about something you know nothing about...... thats so irratating to see someone look so inerrate... about Facts.... I can't help that Macon serves a hub for central Ga......and for me to boost Macon doesn't make me rich so why waste the time....

Even with the PROPOSED development, Macon cant hold a candle to either town.
Also, Warner Robins is a city unto itself.....it doesnt need Macon to survive. It would be utterly crazy to include WR as a metro of Macon. You are seriously scraping the bottom of the barrel to validate a rediculous arguement.
First of all compared to the the development Macon and what you claim is going on in augusta is small to compared to what going on Macon, you are the one that nuts.... if you research Macon's development you would know that you are obliviously incorrect because right now not including proposed development but Macon has over 4 million sq feet of retail development all un construction just in North Macon and this does include residential development...... Also Nw Macon Has over 1 million sq of development and south Macon has over 2 million sq of development....uconstruction and this does not included DT or the inner city and new proposed developments in these areas. Right not Macon has about 7 million sqft of retail development right now under construction in the north, south and NWestern parts of the city and all huge interstate revisions and for you to say Warner robins is a city of it own and can stand alone, then why doesn't Wr had its own TV,NEWS, RADIO,and everything esle a stand alone city has, Why does 75% everyone who live s in WR work , shop and interact in Macon, WR doesn't evern have a DT , Judical or county centers. WR is basically a huge Suburb....that was formed a round a AF base. that stupid for you to say WR shouldn't be apart of Macon Metro, thats like saying Augusta-akien or atlanta- Decatuar shouldn't be apart of the same metro.... Did you know that From DT Macon to WR is less than 15 miles apart... and in some part of South Macon and north of WR you can't Even tell whats Macon and Whats WR..... So you need to re evalute you comments be you post them....

Buddy I don't Where in the world are you from But Forsyth has always been considered apart of Macon Metro.... and Dublin apart of the metro but its relies alot on Macon...... so you seem to scaping the barrel for amo against Macon because i don't what you be thinking when you post,"what to Bas Macon as Bad as i possibly can..... because for you say Forsyth is not a part macon you must still asleep..... think buddy before you post...
