I am getting married sept 20th 2008 and i am having a hard time finding a hall to rent for the reception of 100-150 people. I would pefer to provide my own food and drinks but if there is a bar thats ok too. Lastly i do need AC included.

U Might Try
most churches, esp baptist and methodist, have "fellowship" halls. you might canvas those in the area you want. they may well rent it to you. i imagine the baptists will not allow alcohol or certain other activities but you might wind up with a more liberal church group.

Churchs do not allow alcohol in the Fellowship Halls. Unspoken ettiquette rule.

Try a nearby hotel too. That way if you do have alcohol and the guests can drive they could book a room.
